Curriculum

While lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student, all pupils study these essential skills:

Breathing
Intonation
Long tones for tone development
Major, minor, chromatic and whole tone scales
Etudes and studies for technical development
Selected literature from the solo flute repertoire

My high school curriculum also includes:

Detailed study of articulation (single, double and triple tonguing)
Vibrato
ILMEA audition and solo/ensemble contest preparation
College/scholarship audition preparation

Lesson Fee: $28.00 for 30 minutes

Lessons are currently being conducted in person. Online lessons via FaceTime or Zoom are also accommodated. Please contact for scheduling information.
